Membership Benefits

At Paradise Point Sailing Club, we’re proud of our vibrant member community, welcoming sailors and families of all ages. With generous space for rigging and launching, getting out on the water is always simple and stress-free.

Take a break at our canteen and coffee shop beneath the Bendigo Bank Marquee, where you can enjoy a great view of the action – expect plenty of laughter and smiling faces!

What does membership include?

Full, Family, and Junior memberships include an Australian Sailing Member Number, which is required for anyone wishing to compete in racing activities.

Members also have the option to store their vessels with us for added convenience. Cost for storage is $150 for 6 months or $300 for 12 months.

All membership renewals start on 1/7/2026.

How do I get my Australian Sailing Number?

Upon joining, our administrator will create your profile in the national Sailing Information and Membership System (SIMS). You can update your details anytime via the online portal.

Insurance

All racing competitors must hold an Australian Sailing Number for insurance purposes.

For information on insurance coverage included with full membership, please refer to the Sailing Australia Personal Accident Policy.

Vessel Storage

PPSC Vessel Storage Form

Paradise Point Sailing Club offers limited vessel storage exclusively for our active sailing community. To be eligible for storage, applicants must hold a current Full Adult or Youth Membership with the Club.

Storage Conditions & Member Responsibilities

All members with vessels stored at the Club are expected to regularly participate in Club events and activities. Storage is provided as a benefit to active sailors, and failure to meet this requirement may result in the withdrawal of storage rights.

Please note that no storage spaces will be allocated for the purpose of storage only.

Insurance & Liability

Owners are responsible for arranging their own vessel insurance. Club insurance does not cover member-stored vessels.

While Paradise Point Sailing Club takes all reasonable care, the Club accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to any vessel stored on Club premises.

General Rules

  • All vessels stored at Paradise Point Sailing Club are subject to Club rules and policies.

  • Access outside of Club opening hours must be organised in advance with the Sailing Office.
