It’s been a big season on the water, and we’d love you to join us as we close out the year together at the Paradise Point Sailing Club Christmas party.
The day runs in three parts, and you can come to one, two or all three.

Morning Fun Sail
9:00am – 10:30am
The morning session is open to the wider community as well as PPSC families. Instructors and safety boats are on the water, and no experience or membership is needed.
Coming for the sail only? You don’t need a Christmas ticket — just book the Fun Sail.
Fun sail only tickets: $20 per child
Christmas Lunch & Festivities
From 11:00am
The lunch is catered, so places are strictly limited. A ticket covers the morning fun sail, as well as everything in the clubhouse and on the grass for the rest of the afternoon, PLUS a present from Santa.
Single lunch tickets: Adults $30 each • Children $45 (including the Fun Sail)

A proper Christmas spread, catered for the whole group. Strictly 50 places.
Santa and gifts
Santa drops in with a gift for every child registered, so we need their names and ages.
Jumping castle
Fully sponsored for us this year, and open through the afternoon.
Face painting
Our face painter is booked and running from 11:00am to 1:00pm.
Junior Presentations
Early afternoon, after lunch
Every junior who sailed with us this season is recognised — club racing results, Learn to Sail graduations, and the awards that go up on the honour boards.
Families of presenting sailors are welcome to come and watch, whether or not you have a lunch ticket. Bring a camera.
No ticket needed to watch – Stay on after lunch, or come down for the presentations only.
The plan for the day
Come for the sail, come for the lunch, or make a day of it. A child’s Christmas ticket already covers both, so there’s nothing extra to pay.

Boats rigged and out on the Broadwater with instructors and safety boats on the water. Open to everyone, members or not.

Ashore and packed up
Boats away, a quick rinse off, and time to change before lunch is served.

Lunch is served
Catered Christmas lunch at the club. Strictly 50 places, so book early.
After
Presentations and Santa
Junior awards for the season’s racing and training, then Santa arrives with a gift for every child booked in.
Christmas ticket prices
A child’s Christmas ticket includes the 9:00–10:30am Fun Sail as well as the Christmas lunch and festivities. Adult tickets cover the lunch and festivities.

Children's Christmas tickets include the morning Fun Sail. Add as many tickets as your group needs, for example a family package plus a single adult for Grandma.
So Santa has the right gift for each child, and we know who's sailing in the morning.
Name and age for each child on a Fun Sail only ticket.

Common questions
Do I need to be a club member to come?
No. The Christmas Fun Sail is open to the wider community as well as PPSC families, and anyone is welcome at the Christmas lunch while catered places last.
My child is sailing but we're not staying for lunch. What do we pay?
Just the $30 Fun Sail fee per person. You don’t need a Christmas ticket for the morning sail.
Does a child's Christmas ticket include the Fun Sail?
Yes. The $45 child ticket covers the 9:00 to 10:30am Fun Sail plus the Christmas lunch and festivities, so there’s no extra $30 to pay.
Why is lunch capped at 50 people?
The Christmas lunch is catered and we have a strict maximum of 50 places in total, adults and children combined. Once those are gone we’ll take waitlist names. Fun Sail-only places are not affected by the cap.
How do I pay?
By direct bank transfer to PPSC. Your total and our bank details are shown as soon as you submit the form, and emailed to you as well. Please use XMAS plus your surname as the reference.
When is my booking confirmed?
Once your payment has been received and matched to your registration. We reconcile against the club account regularly and will be in touch if anything doesn’t line up.
What happens on the day?
We check you in against the registration and payment list and issue wristbands. Face painting runs from 11:00am to 1:00pm, and the jumping castle is open through the afternoon.
What if it's too windy to sail?
The Fun Sail is weather permitting, as all our sessions are. The Christmas lunch, Santa and presentations go ahead regardless.
